Sometimes we get "récup" (free material for reuse) for our Sunday animation of embroiderers. And everyone in our group remembered that I like purple and shades of green - and so this treasure went to me. Of course, this obliges me to start a new project!

Now online: Dr. Brumm learns how to dance! It was so much fun coming up with all these dance moves (some of the "Hip Hop Moves" were inspired by a gym class I once took ;-)

This really might be my favourite episode I've had the pleasure of animating so far.

Dr. Brumm #series are based on the books by Daniel Napp and produced by Trikk17 

GLXAnimate is an animation app using vectors instead of rasterized images or scanned drawings. It's quite unique in that regard. You can find an appimage on the kde server with the latest git version.

So that's why Santa is always late.. ;-)

New major version, v1.5, for the #Tahoma2D animation app. It works well under Linux, minus the fact that it doesn't launch from the app menu (you gotta use the terminal or a file manager to navigate to its appimage). Overall, impressive app.

Another similar app, Synfig Studio, also has major new features on their dev branch.

On the plus side, we're having fun at the Chilemonos festival in Vancouver Canada, ALL WEEK LONG and with specials guests like mr Watanabe! <3

Any animation or illustrations friends, I’m looking to get my daughter either an iPad Pro or a Wacom Cintiq but they are both very big purchases for us so I can’t afford to get it wrong! If anyone has any recommendations, tips or advice it is very gratefully received!

I should add that my daughter leaves school next month and will be studying animation at college, it is her passion so I want something professional that will last! #animation #advice #animator #drawing #kids #learning
