The tree may be from the late 1500s when the <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/park?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#park</a> was founded as a hunting area and breeding/research compound, today it's next to the moose enclosure of <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/SababurgZoo?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#SababurgZoo</a>. <br> The tree has a height of around 27 metres and a circumference of more than 6,6 metres (below the canker). The hollow <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/trunk?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#trunk</a> houses a hornets' nest and visitors are asked to be cautious.
