UmWerker 🕊 ☮️ 🤘<p>In my early years of <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> I used the <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/fish" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fish</span></a> <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/shell" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>shell</span></a> before I switched to <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/zsh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>zsh</span></a> at some point. For reasons I am considering returning to fish. I have figured out how to define my <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/alias" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>alias</span></a> there. For <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/ledger" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ledger</span></a> I entered "export LEDGER_FILE=$HOME/some/directory/ledger.dat" in all other shells so that I did not have to enter the full path every time I wanted to use ledger. In fish "set -gx ..." is supposed to perform this function, but ledger then complains that it cannot find a journal file. Does a similar functionality not work in fish or am I doing something wrong? <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/Arch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Arch</span></a> <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/ArchLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ArchLinux</span></a></p>
UmWerker 🕊 ☮️ 🤘<p>In meinen <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> Anfangsjahren nutzte ich die <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/fish" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fish</span></a> <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/shell" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>shell</span></a>, bevor ich irgendwann zu <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/zsh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>zsh</span></a> wechselte. <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/Arch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Arch</span></a> <a href="https://todon.nl/tags/ArchLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ArchLinux</span></a></p>
