I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but curious if any of you #ZorinOS #Linux user know the answer and can save me the setup time.
I see zorin claims to be able to run #AffinityPhoto under their paid distro package. As far as I understand, you can only run #Affinity through Wine or Bottles, and to limited success.
Does Zorin have some secret setup? Is there a way to get their package version of Affinity to use?
I already own an Affinity license, but, currently use it through a VM.

@4fd485 der empfiehlt statt dessen #ZorinOS https://en.ubunlog.com/Controversies-surrounding-Wubuntu%3A-a-reliable-Linux-distribution. Ich persönlich würde #OpenSuse #LEAP empfehlen (ohne Windoof-Optik, meine Mutter Bj. '41 kommt damit klar)

Je suis un gros flemmard pour faire des recherches dans ta foisonnante publication en ligne, et je cherche des distributions candidates pour primo-utilisateurs GNU Linux dans le cadre de travaux associatifs et citoyens (opération "Windows sort de ce corps"

Noch dieses Jahr werden wir hier im Betrieb nicht nur den Windows Server einmotten, sondern auch die Clients auf Linux umstellen ... der erste kleine PC (der das Update zu Windows 11 nicht geschafft hat) mit #ZorinOS ( #ubuntu ) 'drauf läuft bereits zur Eingewöhnung und schnell wie eine Rakete. Linux is a great alternative to Windows and MacOS for many reasons. This is especially relevant to Windows 10 users, as Microsoft is ending support in October 2025.

Ich habe gerade für meine Mutter ZorinOS auf einem neuen Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 (2023er Modell) installiert. Windows natürlich runtergeworfen.
Die gesamte Installation inklusive speziellen Surface Kernel installieren, ein paar Programme deinstallieren, andere installieren, Secure Boot einschalten etc. hat unter einer Stunde gedauert.
Das Ganze (Hard- und Software) sieht unglaublich gut aus und läuft absolut smooth.
Bin fast ein bisschen neidisch. 
Je suis de retour sur ma partition #ZorinOS.
Figurez-vous que cette fois ça n'avait rien à voir avec l'OS. La fiche du disque dur s'était déconnectée
