Hmmm, cannot make #UnifiedPush work in #Moshidon since reinstalling it on a new phone for some reason. Moshidon is properly registered in my UP providers but Moshidon doesn't see that.

@moshidon any ideas? Using #GrapheneOS, Android 15, latest Moshidon build from F-Droid main repo.

• I've ported UnifiedPush to Firefox, so it can receive background notifications using the service you want, specially useful for PWA (installable web application)
• ntfy provides a PWA
• So I can receive ntfy notifications with their PWA through any push service, for instance using Sunup :D

I never though I could spend that much time on updating @unifiedpush in #PolyculeClient ... Well, I'm learning a lot about the deeper integration of the #Flutter engine into the Android runtime as well as some code decisions I was facing about #FluffyChat together with @krille four years ago. Damn, that's been quite a while !

Thanks to the amazing support of the #UnifiedPush devs I'm gladly not alone on that stony path. Thanks a lot for your help !

After deactivating Android battery optimisations for #Signal – as it requested – my battery drains ~1.5x as fast and my phone is always warm. Y U no use #UnifiedPush? >.<

The worst part: I cannot even disable it again, as the Android settings of #SailfishOS do not provide a pathway towards battery settings.

Cool, Fennec is interested in #UnifiedPush support [1]

We will probably have it on Fennec before it gets upstream (if it does ).

That means UnifiedPush will be available for "installable web applications". So we'll have push notifications with some new apps !

Is it expected for #Tusky to use more than a single #UnifiedPush channel ? For comparison, #FluffyChat uses a single one, despite managing multiple accounts..
