To make some noise for the newly independent wikis, undertale.wiki as well as deltarune.wiki are now live. Congratulations on their successful fork from Fandom!

Even though the community vote on the fork ended just recently, the websites must have been prepared waaaaaay beforehand as they seem to be:
- completely independently hosted
- domain registered a year ago
- Discussions backend uses Discourse, which I don't think I've seen before on wikis?
- There are some kinks to iron out, but the fork seems to be pretty quality.

This was also some very quick reaction based on incoming Deltarune releases.

My utmost respect goes to KockaAdmiralac for leadership on this move.

Also a reminder of getindie.wiki/ existence, Undertale and Deltarune wikis will show up there as soon as the extension gets accepted in browser stores.

Tried it... I love the concept, but dear $DIETY trying it was excruciating! Using a game that has a lot of dialogue, where you need to click a button after every sentence, but with a 20 second delay between every button push, well... I got about half way through the first dialogue and just couldn't take it any more. Maybe it might work better on a game with little/no dialogue? Maybe #Undertale?

#RetroGaming Did you know?

- #WingCommander *didn't* hack a DPMI error when it closed. That's a myth.

- #Myst was written in HyperCard on the Mac, w/ a plugin for big 256-color images. Broderbund created a custom(?) engine to port it to Windows.

- #Undertale has some wonky code, but it still works! Good code is only important if you want your game to run on a 486 (I wish Undertale ran on a 486!)

- #SimCity2000 for #Windows3 had a use-after-free bug that #Windows95 was patched to accommodate.

i feel like i post too little of my stuff in here compared to on gamejolt, so i decided to compensate it a bit by putting together a few segments of the animation im currently working on and upload it here as some kind of trailer

speaking of, i would love to upload it to #peertube when it's finished, but i keep struggling with choosing an instance. Do you nice internet people have peertube instance suggestions for this type of gameplay-mimic sprite animations where it would fit well?
