Linux Mobile !

Weekly GNU-like #MobileLinux Update (25/2025): Packed with Goodies
https://linmob.net/weekly-update-25-2025/

This week really was something: #postmarketOS ship 25.06 (which, among other things, adds systemd) and work to reverse-engineer #VoLTE, #FuriOS 13.1.0 lands with Open-Store support (for #UbuntuTouch apps) and plenty of other improvements, #PlasmaMobile share detailed log of all the fixes and improvements they managed to land in the past year (and what's to come), Jolla announce free #SailfishOS updates for all #JollaC2 customers, I managed to interview #Liberux about their Nexx phone - but there's way more still, including a packed Apps section. Enjoy!

LINux on MOBileWeekly GNU-like Mobile Linux Update (28/2025): Automatically FocussedLibcamera auto-focus progress, Plasma Camera switching to a libcamera backend, a Ubuntu Touch Q&A and a Lomiri bounty program by OS SCi, a video on (mobile) NixOS and more!
Progress report:

#unmeta: 100%
#akkoma, #threema, #signal are way better

#unmicrosoft: 100% everything I have control over, but work forces Windows on me
#nobara, #fedora, #mint and various distros on my test laptop

#ungoogle: 75%, still have some email adresses that are used as login everywhere, switching is hard work.
For Android I have #grapheneos and #calyxos on my daily drivers, but testing #mobilelinux like #sailfish and #ubuntutouch.
#Waterfox and #Iceraven for browsers.
And for the rest of the services I love my #nextcloud.
Also, #peertube and #nebula.
Honestly, #google is the hardest to get rid of, but maybe the one that really shouldn't have all that data about me.
