The mug was originally white with an ugly corporate logo, on the Free shelf at a thriftshop. I brought it home and painted it.

I love interesting trinket boxes. This little elephant trio is one of my favorites.

"Bun Ami" teableau for 05/20/25

I love the bunnies who come to my yard. My dogs & cats are pretty excited by them, too. The rabbits seem to understand that the slider door protects them, and are completely unperturbed by the commotion occurring on the indoor side of it.

Of bagged teas, Brewix is still my favorite Peach black tea, but Stash is quite nice.

Two little girls were using a pit toilet in the woods when a huge worm wiggled under the enclosure. They were beyond thrilled. When they saw this little outhouse pencil holder in a giftshop, they insisted their parents send it to me to make a teableau.

"Little Pink Stars" teableau for 05/12/25

Fittingly, Pacific Starflowers (Lysimachia latifolia) look like a fairy dell. They are, after all, in the enchanted forest of the PNW.

Outdoor tea tableau set on a hillside carpeted with Pacific Starflowers that have bright green foliage and tiny, pink, star shaped flowers that appear to float above the leaves. There is a vintage white teapot with a painted pansy design and an almost matching vintage teacup with a viola flower design. The tea is Earl Grey black tea from Ahmad.
