I'm really enjoying the Switch 2, everyone.

Am 2. April dieses Jahres hat #Nintendo die neue Generation der beliebten Spielkonsole #Switch, die #NintendoSwitch2, präsentiert. Das neue Modell, das mit einem 7,9″-Bildschirm und einem Support für #4K-Inhalte ausgestattet ist, ist ab heute im Handel erhältlich. Auch Redakteurin Mel hat bereits ein Exemplar direkt bei Nintendo vorbestellt und hofft, dass #DHL heute oder morgen bei ihr klingeln wird.

What happens if I put a #Switch game into the #Switch2 (Handheld mode). Will it stay at #720p because it's originally 720p in handheld mode, or will it run at 1080p because the Switch 2 has a #1080p #display? The #game can do 1080p since it runs at 1080p on the original Switch when docked to a #TV. I'm not talking about special Switch 2 versions of the #games or paid upgrades—just the original game.

A fixed 720p resolution will look terrible on a 1080p screen. Since it's not the native resolution, the image will appear blurry.

And what about the UI? 1080p on a TV makes the interface elements appear smaller compared to 720p in handheld mode. Maybe it’ll be too small on the Switch 2’s 1080p screen—I’m not sure.

A day one deluge

Just bought Skyrim on the Switch. I’ve never played it before. I’m looking forward to it though!

Anyone have any recommendations on what to do with an old #Nintendo #Switch ? It stopped charging, I opened it and saw it was too complex for me, closed it, and it started working. Now the left controller won't charge. It's the switch not the controller. But does anyone have any kind of fun hacks you can do with the Switch?
