More pix after the rain. The River Birch in the front has been dropping it's seeds in the last few days & the heavy rain has washed up quite a pile of seeds at the base of one of the drain pipes. Looks like half a bushel, at least. Anyone care to count them? Got the cucurbits cultivated to help the soil dry out a little bit & looks like the cabbage is starting to "head up" at last. Now if we could just have a few days of sun...

We had 1.75 inches / 44mm of rain in one hour yesterday afternoon and the ground is saturated. A quick morning inspection of the veg. patch shows some washouts, but not too bad. The plants all survived ok. Now the weeds will pop up!

A shakedown ride with #NightRiders in the #rain! To test my #bikepacking setup and my hand-made drybag holder I’ve stuffed it with things and hit the road. It held well over curbs, #cobbles and #gravel. I think I’m well prepared!

Luckily I had a short #Humpday. It rained briefly but Kengo didn't mind lying on wet grass. Of course, hydrangeas love the rain.
