I'm so tired of leftist content creators who are men being outed as fucking creeps.

I don't deify content creators, or leftists, or other human beings at all for that matter.. but it's so disheartening that every fucking time I find someone who's content I enjoy and learn from, they end up leveraging their online popularity in predatory ways with young women followers.

Be better.

Instead of responding like a whining bitch because you feel embarrassed by someone pointing out you've said something racist, maybe take some time to really think about how your actions have relied on and reified white supremacy.. and how the CALL IN you were given was an act of grace.

Until you can do this, take the fucking "anarchist" bullshit out off your screen name.

Activist spaces are meant to be safe and they need to be safe for everyone, especially Black women and Black queer folks. . . We can't claim to support Black women and femmes in our rhetoric while not doing it in our actions. . .

Our spaces must be informed by a committed intersectional politic.

If you were talking with someone who was centre-right, what would you suggest he reads/listens to for opening him up to "leftist" (for lack of a better term) ideas?

He's not politically aligned through any real political beliefs he holds personally, but because of the whole "I vote lib/nats because I'm a tradie and they work for tradies" that a lot of Australian men hold onto.

I have an opportunity to get him to start reading and listening to things, and am looking for suggestions.
