Consider what could have been achieved if PS2s and XBoxen could have been run as basic PCs for anybody without ready access to a PC back in 2001. The tech industry always wants a new, sexy solution, not one that's already been solved but just needs logistics; by 2005 this hardware would have been dirt cheap and could be deployed in the millions to schools around the world; cheaply, effectively and without much fuss, unlike the tech-bro ego stroke fallout that was OLPC.

After all this time of being unused, the old PS3 DualShock/SixAxis controllers still charge fine, so that's very cool!

In my opinion, these are the best to pair on a PC running a PS2 emulator because the DualShock 4 and later no longer have pressure sensitive X, O, square and triangle buttons and that's essential for some of those old games (especially race games). Using the real PS2 with wired controllers would just be way too annoying
