Galaxy Unpacked 2025 – July 9th
According to a recent report, the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event will be held on July 9th, 2025, to introduce the new devices that are going to start a new chapter of Galaxy Ultra with the new foldables. In addition to that, the new foldables will set a new milestone for the Galaxy Z series.
The new foldables will be thin, light, and built to last, with the most advanced foldable design yet. They will be introduced in this summer’s Unpacked 2025 event.
In addition to that, the new smartwatches, which are the Galaxy Watch8 series, will also be unveiled in the same event, in addition to the new health features that will be introduced with the new smartwatches and the smartwatches released on 2024.
The excitement is rising as we are being introduced to the most recent innovations made by Samsung. The Galaxy S25 Edge represented the most recent mobile engineering that was first unveiled to us at the end of January’s Unpacked 2025.
Galaxy A34 rollout paused
While the Galaxy A34 rollout for One UI 7 had started, Samsung has reportedly paused the rollout due to bugs found in the update. This was in the same behavior as when the Galaxy S24 was affected by this rollout pause.
This has been confirmed when the firmware update has been pulled from Samsung’s servers, such as the Korean version where it got reverted to CYA2, and a bunch of other countries as the reliable tipster on X pointed out.
We will monitor the rollout status for this device to ensure that you get the revised One UI 7 update soon, should Samsung fix all problems that caused the rollout halt. Once the rollout restarts, we will re-publish the article to let you know.

Samsung Galaxy A34/A33 still doesn’t have the One UI 7 update
Samsung has released One UI 7 on April 17th, 2025, after a major issue has been fixed. Currently, almost all eligible flagship devices in the world and more middle-ranger devices have obtained their own One UI 7 update tailored to their phone models and their countries. Your Galaxy will become more powerful, amazing, and gorgeous as One UI 7 brings more powerful features and a redesigned appearance consisting of a simple, impactful, and emotive design.
However, the Galaxy A34 and the A33 phones still haven’t received the One UI 7 update until now, which is a major inconvenience for users eager to receive this update meant to give you features like the Now Bar and the redesigned UI elements. However, we expect that the A34 and the A33 phones get the update during this month.

Galaxy S24 FE May 2025 Security Patch released!
The May 2025 security patch has been released for the Galaxy S24 FE device roughly two weeks ago. Such update improves your device security to make sure that you can use your device without worrying about thieves using loopholes to get unauthorized access to your device. The firmware can be identified using the following builds:
In order to update your device to the latest security patch, you can check for all available updates using the following steps:
When installing the update, make sure that you keep your device on, and that you never interrupt the update process in any way. Interruption of the update process can cause problems later. One UI 8 Now Brief “Morning Brief” Fixed in Beta 2
Now Brief (or Daily Brief) was introduced to the Galaxy S25 series as a new feature that shows you brief summary of your morning, your evening, and your night. It looks like that Samsung may have broken the Now Brief feature in the first One UI 8 Beta (build ZYER released on May 28th).
How was it broken? Now Brief works, but it shows “Morning Brief” at all times, even when it’s midnight. Reports like this had surfaced in the Beta forums since Beta 1, and it appears that the issue is widespread. The picture below demonstrates this issue, and note that it was 9:34 PM when it was taken.
In the second beta version of One UI 8, it appears that this bug has been fixed according to a post on X. Now, this feature works correctly in times other than the morning. Every night, you’ll now see “Tonight brief” or “End of the Day” instead of “Morning brief”.
One UI 8 Beta 2 will be released as early as next week or two (our speculation), when stability proves. This will be the first beta version of One UI 8 for India and for Poland.
In order to update to One UI 8 Beta 2 once it gets released, navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and Install. Your Now Brief will be fixed so that it functions properly, and improvements in some areas will be made.

One UI 7 – Mini Timer for Clock
One UI 7 has been rolled out to many Samsung Galaxy devices, including the entry-level Galaxy A05s as the latest device that got this update across many regions. In the Clock application, you can enable the Mini Timer so that when you start the timer, you’ll get a small “pill” that shows you the time remaining for an alarm. You can enable this feature through the Clock app settings by tapping on the menu button > Settings > Show mini timer.
When you enable this setting, you can start a timer, as usual. For example, we have set a timer to run for two minutes, and we got the below screen as soon as we’ve started it.
Now, exit the Clock app, and you should get a small pill in your home screen, along with the live notification for the timer.
To get One UI 7, you can check for updates on your phone or tablet by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
