The whole image has an orange cast to it, maybe because the sun was low, maybe because of poor post processing, maybe because orange is one of the reference colors of the Nikonians community. Hard to tell.

The KHL rookie of the Year award was given to Ivan Demidov. But that's only half the story. The KHL was going to give it to Surin because Demidov was not going to attend the award (he is training in Montreal). But the news got out and they reverted back to the vote result, with Demidov getting the bulk of the votes.
