A minor point which in no way takes away from the far more important things the author and respondents have written:

Woodbury (where I happen to live) is not Minneapolis nor a suburb of Minneapolis. It is a small city best described as a suburb of Saint Paul, #Minnesota. All of the #TwinCities should not be conflated with Minneapolis (something my east coast friends do too). Again, a minor point, but I think #geography competence is important.

'One concern I have is the potential for confusion if public health recommendations from [Robert F.] Kennedy [Jr.] are at odds with the Vaccine Integrity Project information. In an interview, [infectious disease maven Michael] Osterholm acknowledged this, saying, “This is hardly an ideal situation.”

'But, he added, the alternative is not speaking out, leaving Kennedy and his ilk the only voices out there. Osterholm said that’s unacceptable, and preparations must be made for times when “official government information” does not reflect what the body of science says.'

Growing up, I cried over The Grapes of Wrath and watched films about the Holocaust, stories of suffering that shaped my view of the world. But the tragedy that scarred almost every Ukrainian family, the Holodomor, was barely acknowledged.
I’m grateful that today more voices are trying to tell our story.
An upcoming play, Sickle (May 1–10, Minneapolis), created by an American playwright, turns to the devastation of Ukrainian village life, a tragedy that destroyed millions of lives.
I haven’t seen the play yet, but I hope it does justice to the weight of the story.
