"NYSNA nurses have always maintained that there are more than enough nurses, but hospitals refuse to make real efforts to recruit and retain nurses," Hagans said. "We are seeing many more grads entering the profession than nurses leaving. Through better working conditions, safe staffing, and pay and benefits that respect nurses, hospitals could address whatever staffing issues they create."

So y'all know that the #MassDeportations and the proposed #Medicare and #Medicaid "work requirements" are hand in glove, right? When all of the migrant workers are rounded up into deportation camps, who is going to be pressed in service in kitchens, hotel housekeeping, #FarmLabor, and slaughterhouses? All of those people who need #HealthCare, of course.
"Hey grandma, you want healthcare? You don't look too sick, get in there and milk them cows. Turn them beds.".

Bruce A. Scott's impactful final address as AMA President urges medical professionals to "turn anger into action" against Congress's threats to healthcare access. #Trump is trying to escalate the #californiaprotest and create chaos and violence so he can send in troops and divert attention away from things like his #BigUglyBill will cut #Medicaid and trigger cuts to #Medicare. And let's not forget it increases the debt and the military while giving the wealthy tax breaks and burdening the middle class.

I'll be attending the protest this Saturday to lend my voice and support against this #authoritarian-wannabe and #dictatorship lover, #DictatorTrump.

Examples:

<> prices are rising
<> US economy is slowing
<> Tariffgate has put many on edge and it keeps not going away
<> United States is the laughing stock of the world because our president is a laughing stock
<> ICE is disappearing people and acting as Trump's vigilante force
<> individual legal rights are being chipped away
<> voting rights are being stolen
<> US dollar is in danger of losing its world currency status
<> Trump and his underlings, which amounts to nearly all Republicans, are trying to strip millions and millions of Americans of their health insurance SO THEY CAN GIVE MONEY TO THE WEALTHIEST PEOPLE AND CORPORATIONS BY WAY OF TOTALLY UNNEEDED TAX BREAKS

And with all of these things and more seriously hurting the country, according to today's news reports Trump's approval rating is going UP.

This says in the loudest terms that politicians and public figures, center to left, are not doing their jobs of talking to the American people, explaining issues, and acting as an actual opposition.
