#NYC Mayor's #Primary Tightening Between Ugandan born #Socialist #Assemblyman Zohran #Mamdani & Disgraced Democrat Ex #Governor #Cuomo, who resigned top state office under cloud of sexual harassment claims despite decades of erstwhile establishment ego, ol' fashioned #NY #Nepotism aiding his image.

A former adviser to Mr. Cuomo, said that the biz elite favorite had run a “grim and joyless campaign” compared to upstart candidate endorsed by #WorkingFamilies Party, #AOC and #DJT enemy Letitia James. The night before #election day, Mamdami appeared on #CBS TV with Stephen Colbert and sent email to supporters noting “It is essential that we turn out in record numbers in order to turn the page on #AndrewCuomo, his billionaire donors, and the #politics of big money and small ideas”

#RankChoice voting makes predicting outcome harder than usual in the multi candidate mayoral race, but Mamdani has momentum since leaping double digits in polling over past month, while third place to likely to go to his ally and city #Comptroller Brad Lander, who was recently talk of town after being body slammed and arrested by #ICE.

This is a good article by Apoorva Mandavilli about how RFKJr’s changes to the CDC’s ACIP committee can lead to huge changes in children’s access to vaccines. Even if a vaccine is theoretically available, monkeying with ACIP can guarantee that half or more US children don’t get them.

"Since Donald Trump was elected again, I’ve feared one scenario above all others: that he’d call out the military against people protesting his mass deportations, putting America on the road to martial law."
