The concurrent 2.27.1 and 2.26.3 release was intended to address a critical vulnerability, however last week the report was downgraded to high severity.
Still a good opportunity to update!

GeoServer 2.27.1, GeoServer 2.26.3 and GeoServer 2.25.7 released.
Stable and maintenance releases are being made concurrently in response to a security vulnerability. Details will be shared on Monday 2 June (allowing everyone an opportunity to update).
GeoServer 2.27.1 has the new ability to define coverage views using Jiffle "raster calculator" expressions.

Developing infrastructure software can be quiet making it unclear if folks notice how much work it all takes.
@geoserver PSC took a risk sharing upcoming work and asking for help. Proud of my employer @geocat, and consortium members @geosolutions + @camptocamp for answering.
Taken aback and impressed by the strong response from organizations all around the world.
As GS3 starts there will be development updates in the days ahead, for now accept my personal thanks.

So here's a quick #introduction - I'm a python and java developer who used to work mainly on open source #geospatial software such as #geoserver.
Currently, I am a research software engineer at Glasgow University. My contract ends in October 2025 so I am looking for work. #fediHire
In my spare time I help out at a #repairCafe fixing broken electrical items. I
'm also a full time #carer and struggle with #depression and #chronicPain.
