Grund sei ein kritischer Gesundheitszustand, hieß es. Die 24-jährige non-binäre Person befindet sich seit rund vier Wochen in einem Hungerstreik, um auf menschenunwürdige Haftbedingungen in Ungarn aufmerksam zu machen.</p><p>Maja T. war im Dezember 2023 in Berlin verhaftet worden. Ungarischen Behörden zufolge soll die Person im Februar 2023 gemeinsam mit weiteren Antifaschist:innen Angehörige der rechtsextremen Szene in Budapest angegriffen haben. Im Juni 2024 erfolgte die Auslieferung nach Ungarn – trotz eines noch laufenden Eilverfahrens vor dem Bundesverfassungsgericht. Seit einem Jahr befindet sich Maja in Ungarn in Isolationshaft.Maja erleidet Folter,weil Maja Antifaschist*in ist und Haltung zeigt.Mit dem Hungerstreik hat Maja versucht ,eine Verlegung in den Hausarrest zu erreichen. Aber diese Option wurde wegen angeblicher Fluchtgefahr vom Gericht in Ungarn abgelehnt. Mit dem Hungerstreik will Maja auch erreichen, dass keine weiteren Antifas nach Ungarn ausgeliefert werden. </p><p>Durch den Hungerstreik geht es Maja immer schlechter. Weltschmerz à Gogo<p>For the non-German speakers: this is a short video from the father of Maja T., the German antifascist who was surreptitiously and illegally extradited to Hungary last year in the middle of the night to face charges related to altercations with Nazis during the 2023 "Day of Honor" in Budapest.</p><p>Maja has been on hunger strike since June 5, and today Maja is being brought to a hospital due to severely deteriorating health. The hunger strike was already a response to inhumane prison conditions -- total isolation from other prisoners, 1 hour a day of time "outside" (alone in an open-air, concrete-walled yard), extreme temperatures, cockroaches and bedbugs, sub-standard food -- so it's not like Maja was in ideal health when this started.</p><p>Now Maja's father is walking to Berlin (I assume from his home in Jena) as a kind of protest. He is, obviously, very concerned for his kid. I've exchanged several letters back and forth with Maja and am also very concerned about the health and the very life of someone I consider a friend.</p><p>This situation has reached a critical stage. If you're anywhere within reach of a Hungarian (or even a German) embassy or consulate, if you've thought about solidarity actions or anything that might call attention to Maja's case, now is the time. (Yeah, I'm aware that these things tend not to be particularly persuasive of fashy governments like Hungary's. Nun wird Maja T., non­bi­nä­r*e Ak­ti­vis­t*in aus Thüringen, wegen des Gesundheitszustands in ein Haftkrankenhaus verlegt, 260 Kilometer von Ungarns Hauptstadt entfernt, an der Grenze zu Rumänien. Das bestätigten der Vater und der Anwalt von Maja T. der taz.</p><p>Wolfram Jarosch, der Vater von Maja T., erneuerte deshalb seine Forderung, sein Kind nach Deutschland rückzuüberstellen.
