Philip GillißenI have a strange problem with <a href="https://ruhr.social/tags/FirefoxForAndroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FirefoxForAndroid</a> in the beta version. It seems that canvas elements are not rendered correctly, which disturbs some websites. I deactivated all extensions and the canvasses appear as RGB rainbow (see screenshot). Best example is a privately generated meme on imgflip.com but it appears on a lot of pages .<a href="https://mozilla.social/@FirefoxNightly" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@FirefoxNightly</a> does not have that problem, only Firefox beta, but it's there for a long time already... The webpage / <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/PWA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#PWA</a> is 100% not mobile responsive (in 2024!). Ditto the <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Linux</a> app. There's no <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Android</a> app in <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/FDroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FDroid</a> despite, iirc, the client being <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/FOSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FOSS</a>?At least make the website mobile friendly. Dunbar's NumberSo everyone clamouring for <a href="https://mas.to/tags/MaterialYou" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#MaterialYou</a> will have to clamour on, as there's none coming to <a href="https://mas.to/tags/FirefoxForAndroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FirefoxForAndroid</a> as of what I saw. Disclaimer, what I saw could be inaccurate or fake. But essentially <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Firefox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Firefox</a> on <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Android</a> will be a browser that doesn't quite look or feel like an Android app. I'm honestly not sure what the point of that is. Every other app on people's phones will look and act one way except the <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Mozilla" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Mozilla</a> one. Seems a silly idea to me and one that generally fails.

Dunbar's NumberSo I've just been looking at the new <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Firefox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Firefox</a> design proposals and oh boy! Firstly I will say that as a <a href="https://mas.to/tags/FirefoxForAndroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FirefoxForAndroid</a> user it's been obvious to the whole world and its mother that Firefox has needed a bit of an update for a while, so this is amazing news that everyone should get behind. <a href="https://mas.to/tags/FirefoxAndroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FirefoxAndroid</a> has been my primary browser for a while. The mobile age huh!
