I was at #fosdem in 2023, and I liked Devrooms so much, I tried to get them to IndiaFOSS this year.
The #IndiaFOSS team agreed, and there's gonna be 6 devrooms (~mini-conferences) this year: AOSP/PL/Science/Policy/Data/Hardware
I will be hosting the Open Data devroom with @thej and a few more excellent folks. The CFP is now open (Deadline: 7-Jun)
We're looking for talks around Open Datasets, Open Data tooling, Data journalism etc.

Regarding the mentioned #FOSDEM talk: @heinleinsupport sadly didn’t publish the Ansible roles as promised during the talk. They were briefly at https://gitlab.opencode.de/heinlein, then vanished without comment. Sad, as the talk lacks sense without them.
Just donated to #thunderbird for the first time, prompted by their email campaign.
Huge progress last year. Was fascinating to see a talk by the design team at #fosdem this year.

* Gerry (#FOSDEM staff friend) and myself are rocking this without guide; seeing guides is both reassuring and annoying
* #Train ticket for one hour ride is 10 Baht or 0.27€
* There is no train bridge. We will get out, see about catching a ferry, and board a different train
* End stop is going to be Mae Klong. So we will see the railway market fold up and spread again every time a train passes. For the first run, we see it from the train
