Americans are pretty cool, and frankly I am disappointed with people of my gen in -France-, who , like me, went to very good public schools..
I have seen them online.. Very sad..
I did not want to be trashed online in 2016-2018 like if I did not existed...
I failed my exams because I was not ready to be what they called "elite", coming from a working class background.
I am now, I don't have good diplomas, I am too old, I am disabled..

AP News · UVA president resigns under administration pressure, AP source saysThe president of the University of Virginia is resigning his position under pressure from the Justice Department, which had pushed for his departure amid scrutiny of the school’s diversity, equity and inclusion practices. That’s according to a person familiar with the matter, who confirmed the move to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. The departure of James Ryan, who had led the school since 2018, represents a dramatic escalation in the Trump administration’s effort to reshape higher education. Doing it at a public university marks a new frontier in a campaign that has almost exclusively targeted Ivy League schools. The move was first reported by The New York Times.

— A (redundant) #voter ID #ExecutiveOrder that requires proof of #citizenship

— Federal Funding Freeze that froze trillions of dollars of federal #grants & #loans

— an order by the #Education Dept that demanded that #PublicSchools either eliminate programs promoting #diversity & #equity, or lose their federal #funding.
