That means, this sheet is more powerful than the one I built on #GoogleDocs. That's all thanks to #DataTables and the very helpful community there.

I'm quite certain, that there are still mistakes with the languages and the country of origin, so if you spot one, please tell me. @Flipboard has a helpful sheet with all accounts, they federated, but it doesn't contain languages and no country for about half of them.

Spotted on Mastodon: a spreadsheet of 900 media outlets with a Fediverse presence. “I did it! Although it’s still very rough & really not pretty, I got my spreadsheet with (> 900) verified accounts of media organizations in the #Fediverse away from #Google. The solution was #DataTables all along.”

I did it! Although it's still very rough & really not pretty, I got my spreadsheet with (> 900) verified accounts of media organizations in the #Fediverse away from #Google. The solution was #DataTables all along 👇🏼

Now I have to make it pretty (and correct some mistakes), but maybe someone can help me there? For example I know, that you can filter in #DataTables, but I couldn't get it working. Ideas?

My file is on GitHub (did I do it right?):

And with regard to the spreadsheet: I have now tried presenting my data (from Google Sheets) in #Airtable or #Grist (because both look pretty), but both don't sync with the sourca data.
Next I tried connecting #Sheets to #DataTables (because that's open and also pretty), but that doesn't work either.
Now I'm trying to visualize my raw data with #DataTables, but that's still difficult. I need a no-code solution and really, #Google is so useful, although many here don't like to hear it.

I've been playing around with converting a website's database from MariaDB to SQLite. SQLite is consistently 100 - 200ms faster when performing search queries on a table with ~100,000 rows using DataTables and PHP. There doesn't appear to be any noticeable speed difference querying individual rows. Also, I'm not sure if I'm being a bit heavy handed with it, but I've managed to corrupt the SQLite db numerous times, which is concerning.

For a company application I need to pick one of these #component frameworks: #naiveui #primevue #quasar #vuetify

- It's a fresh project using #vue v3 and consumes #apollo #graphql
- It will have #Datatables and #calendar functionalities
- It needs to be styled so that it fits to the company branding (but we are using #roboto and we are very close to #materialdesign)

Which component framework do you prefer and why?
Are there any others that are useful?
