ONLYOFFICE introduces a flexible AI agent for document, presentation & spreadsheet editing—supporting cloud and local AI models
As open-source users embrace AI, local-only options must be clearly highlighted & respected for privacy and control
This move is welcome—only if AI runs fully locally with transparent settings.

#Drupal Devs! Don't let your data be an Achilles' heel! My latest post unpacks a robust bash script for automated nightly Drupal database backups.
It runs outside Drupal for max reliability & performance, and I'll show you how to skip cache data for super lean backups.
Secure your site, streamline your workflow. Get the script & full breakdown here: https://drupalodyssey.com/blog/devops/bulletproof-your-drupal-data-automated-nightly-backups

What is also interesting, the photos of the #handala vessel have been removed from the marine-traffic-org account after the Israeli forces' interception - so what is going on here?
If there is any intervention directly from the (Apple/Google) backup clouds and SAT data (AIS), we're gonna have a big problem, folks!
First of all, I hope I get some answers directly from the #FFC and the vessel owners of the Handala about it.
Stay tuned.

You are so right Dave & thank you for saying it so well!: "Over-eager harvesting & [unnecessary] storage of personally-identifiable data" needs to be regulated otherwise how do we even know it's happening?
As the Tea data breach (& so many others before it) has just shown: nice-sounding statements about protecting & securing our private data are simply fantasy or lies. No one is responsible - allegedly! - so make some consequences to focus attention & stop bad practices that potentially & actually harm us.

Can AI help you examine leaked data safely?
If you do it right, it can...
In this blog post, our Luke Davis looks at how internal chatbot systems, built on private large language models, can support forensic investigations.
He shows how AI can help find important information in big datasets and speed up analysis.

To make sure the AI output is correct, it should always be checked against the raw dataset.

"The ‘good news’, I suspect, is that most orgs will be too lacking in logs to have evidence."
