So, why did I spend the $ to do this rather than ignore it or go other options?
A. Limited area -- I knew I only had one wall with issues.
B. Rental cost of a blown in insulation machine > the cans off foam, even if the material cost is expensive.
C. Met my personal finances and budget; I know many could not afford to do this, but I am lucky enough to be able to invest in this.
D. Also goes in the "disaster/survival/climate change mitigation/disaster preparation" bucket for me, and I'm willing to invest some $ into those efforts on top of any financial savings from energy bills. #climate #mitigation #climatechangemitigation

Wilder, more diverse lawns also do a great job of absorbing water, preventing floods. They also act as carbon sinks, keeping some of that carbon away from our atmosphere and doing their bit for #ClimateChangeMitigation
