Just released a new terrain tutorial video (though it's a bit light on the tutorial part TBH - as there's not much to it ;) ).

Early present for me: a new #BoardGames table now that we finally have a room to fit it, with space for seats.

Solid wood, made in #Australia, got it from a local store at a discount with free delivery.

Meine Highlights aus dem Juli wieder aufgeteilt nach Solo und Multiplayer.

Insgesamt 44 Spiele kamen auf den Tisch, aber wegen eines Spieleurlaubs nur wenig Solo.

A wonderful month of #boardgames has just come to a close. My personal highlight was visiting friends from the Bluesky boardgame community and playing games with them, it was so much fun!

Ein bunter Monat. Und "Slay The Spire" ist noch immer einsamer Spitzenreiter.

I didn't play many games, but a selected few (as always). 1848 and #PocketTrainGame were solid #18xx games. Bonus points for PTG for its form factor. Amsterdam is a classic Feld Euro, but we had a fun time playing it, maybe a bit too much randomness for my taste. #paxpamir2e one of my all time favorites, nothing's gonna change that. And #aGestofRobinHood is such a great game, that I am eyeing the British way and #vijayanagara as next #COIN steps.

If a boardgame or role-playing game is so complicated that I wish there was software to help me get everything right, then it should just be a video game instead.

I got myself a second hand copy of Wir sind das Volk by Peer Sylvester and Richard Sivél, a game set to the backdrop of a divided Berlin. It’s one of the many historical games I want to get to the table eventually. I just need to find the time. #boardgames #history #berlin

Es ist ja nicht so, dass ich nicht spiele. Hier die Statistik mit BGA.

Juli war wieder recht schwach in der realen Welt. BGA macht sich schon bemerkbar.

Aber 3, mit der Mischwald Erweiterung sogar 4, neue Spiele für mich.

ich finde die Entdeckungen Erweiternug für Mischwald klasse, besonders das Solospiel mit den verschiedenen Aufgaben.

Everdell Duo im Koopmodus auch genau unser Spiel. Macht Spaß und ist doch recht kniffelig.

Ja und mein Einstieg ins Wargame mit Comancheria. Bin immer noch am Tutorial. Wenn ich es denn begreifen sollte, dann wird es glaub ich sehr spannend sein.

Navoria hat und auch sehr gut gefallen. Strohmann schafft es immer wieder gute Spiele an Land zu ziehen. Hut ab.

So, allen viel Spaß auf der #BerlinCon Wir können leider nicht kommen.

Unser Spielemonat Juli
Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden. Der Monat war geprägt von 4 neu-für-uns-Entdeckungen, wenigen kleineren und vielen "großen" Klassikern. Bei den Neuen konnte Pampero durchweg überzeugen und auch Maus & Mystik hat sehr viel Charme. 20. Jahrhundert hat auch nach all den Jahren noch seinen Reiz, den SETI erst noch unter Beweis stellen muss. Das haben unsere Lieblinge schon seit langem, deshalb lieben wir sie so.
So ein schönes Hobby.

Das Spiel, dass für seine Farbgebung berüchtigt ist. Schwarz dominiert und so sahen auch meine Gewinnchancen aus. Allein im letzten Zug sicherte sich Frau 2 Bezirke und in Summe 25 Punkte gegen magere 3 von mir.
Sehr viel abwechslungsreicher als die Farben ist aber das Spiel an sich und so macht es immer wieder Spaß es auf dem Tisch zu haben; sogar wenn man sang- und klanglos untergeht. Damit endet dieser Spielemonat.
