Evening #BloomScrolling in my backyard. I did a walk-through to see what’s what.

Rose bush is budding. Lilacs have erupted with all the rain we’ve had the past 2 weeks. They are so fragrant, I can’t even describe.

Daylilies are growing like weeds! I love that. Maybe I should divide them into multiple containers (I’ve heard that’s a thing)?

One of 2 hydrangeas bushes seems to have given up the ghost this year, but the other seems ok.

Also found 2 mysterious growths…we’ll see what happens.

It’s very green (and purple) out there.

The difference a few km can make is stunning — just one village east of my usual stretch of the #RoyalCanal at Confey station in #Leixlip I spotted these simply stunning Love-in-a-mist flowers. Simply never seen them around Maynooth! #bloomscrolling
