can you recommend a #microphone setup for recording #birds on nearby trees?

I'd like to be able to extract a clean #sound later, but there's always the rustling of leaves, the hum of a tractor somewhere, sometimes other animals.

#Blackbirds make amazing sound effects and I want to have a collection os jingles for app notifications before their mating season ends.

What hashtags have become completely useless to you in the Fediverse? Perhaps by two different topics mixing in the same tag, or by people using them as default to get more views, or something else?

My question is: Does this affect users using the FB and Insta apps, or even WhatsApp?

Hey y'all, I'm seriously considering starting an "After Dark" version of the wonderful @alttexthalloffame! The goal would be to encourage good alt-text on NSFW image posts, as well as showcasing shining examples of spicy alt-text.

Why? Because #AccessibilityIsHotAF, that's why.

So, which instance should I create this account on? It needs to have an accessibility and sex-positive culture, cool admins/mods, and be willing to host such an account.

I'd use LGBTQIA.space, but we try to stay away from any hardcore nsfw content, and this project isn't specifically LGBTQ+.

Here are the profile and banner pics I made for it, but I'd also *love* if a local Fedi artist wanted to contribute to this project.

Thoughts on all of this?

Letztes Jahr hatte ich mir zwei Rettungsdecken in der Apotheke gekauft, weil ich gelesen hatte, daß man die außen am Fenster ankleben könne, um starke Hitze draußen zu lassen. Ein Stück weit zumindest. Da ich im Dachgeschoß wohne, klingt das sinnvoll.

Angebracht hatte ich sie jedoch nie, ich war körperlich nicht dazu in der Lage gewesen. Nun möchte ich das testen. Frage: Womit klebe ich die Rettungsdecken an den Fensterrahmen, damit das einerseits hält und andererseits der Lack nicht beschädigt wird?

Musiker*innen hier, die ein android tablet für ihre Noten nutzen? Welche App (auch für Geld) nehmt ihr da?

In the UK there is this excellent website called https://my.patientsknowbest.com that some NHS trusts use to upload blood results, treaments, etc, it's very VERY complete, and you can grant rights of access to doctors all over the world (I use it to share results between Spanish and British HIV docs).
