Final episode of #Andor's 2nd season was the one I liked most. That droid looks amazing and is the comic relief that I needed. There's also a feeling that the clock is running out. This is something the season has lacked in my opinion. Every other episode starts with "One Year Later"...

VFX were consistently great except for some reason I didn't like the corn field planet. It looked like an LED wall 10 feet behind them that they tried to hide with egregious light wrap.

Emperor Palpatine has decreed that the imperial settlement on Ghorman will unleash the full might of the empire against the population through any means necessary, including a blockade and starvation, for a permanent peace.

Oh wait, that's real life, and Palpatine is being played by all the outright genocide-supporting leadership who are in power to do something about it.

Season 2, Episode 8 - Who Are You - of #Andor is near-perfect television. The machinery of that story, grinding relentlessly forward, the chanting, the soundtrack moaning like a dark thing in labor … OMG. I can’t even. I’m wrecked.

Life’s been so weird this decade, I’ve been catching up on some seriously good sci-fi and dystopian series. Here’s what I’ve been binging lately:

🔩 Silo (Apple TV+) – Secrets, lies, and life underground
🌌 Andor (Disney+) – The Rebellion begins with a spark
🚀 For All Mankind (Apple TV+) – What if the space race never ended?
🧟‍♂️ The Last of Us (Max) – Fungi, fear, and fierce survival
🧠 Severance (Apple TV+) – Work-life balance, but terrifying

[about #StarWars #Andor]
"It's a show built by employees... it's an employee ethic of, let's never do all the things that we hated for all the shows we hated working on, for all the assholes that we worked for...
...LET'S NOT DO IT THAT WAY."
- Tony Gilroy
