Don Trueten :antifa:<p><strong>Vor 84 Jahren: Manolis Glezos und Apostolos Santas reißen Hakenkreuzfahne von der Athener Akropolis herunter. </strong></p><p>In der Nacht vom 30. auf den 31. Mai 1941 bestiegen die jungen <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Antifaschisten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Antifaschisten</span></a> Manolis <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Glezos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Glezos</span></a> und Apostolos <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Santas" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Santas</span></a> die <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Akropolis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Akropolis</span></a> in <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Athen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Athen</span></a> und rissen die dort seit der deutschen Einnahme von Athen am 27. April 1941 gehisste <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Hakenkreuzfahne" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Hakenkreuzfahne</span></a> vom Fahnenmast.</p><p>Apostolos Santas sagte später in einem Interview: <i>„Wir gingen. Der Entschluß war gefaßt. Entweder holten wir das Symbol der Nazis vom "Heiligen Felsen" unserer Vorfahren, der Akropolis, herunter, oder wir würden sterben. So zogen wir los“ (zit. nach Weber, S. 53).</i></p><p><i>Diese erste Widerstandshandlung in <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Griechenland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Griechenland</span></a> war ein Fanal, das viele <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Griechen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Griechen</span></a> zum <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Widerstand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Widerstand</span></a> anregte.</i></p><p><i>Ihnen zu Ehren wurde 1982 eine Gedenktafel aufgestellt.
