Der 24. April ist der Internationale Tag zur #Abschaffung von #Tierversuchen.

Trotz moderner #Alternativen sterben jedes Jahr Millionen von Tieren im Labor. Im Saarland forschen unter anderem PharmBioTec und die Universität des Saarlandes an tierversuchsfreien Methoden. Im EU-Parlament setze ich mich für deren Förderung ein. Ein Erfolg: Keine Tierversuche mehr für neue Waschmittel als Parlamentsposition.

Am Samstag wird bundesweit demonstriert - ein wichtiges Zeichen für den #Tierschutz.
