“61mila morti, 117.000 feriti di cui 11mila non sono curabili in Palestina. 100mila tonnellate di esplosivo lanciati sulla striscia, 50 chili per ogni abitante. 65 detenuti palestinesi morti nelle carceri israeliane dal 7 ottobre. Gaza sta morendo, e questa punizione collettiva se possibile si è aggravata nelle ultime settimane. Da 58 giorni nella striscia non entra nulla, la popolazione è affamata e c’è finanche il rischio che scoppi la poliomielite perché mancano i vaccini”.
C’è molto poco da aggiungere alle parole di Barghouti. Al terzo giorno degli incontri che siamo facendo in Palestina con la nostra delegazione di Avs, ci sembrano sempre più evidenti due dati, che tutti quelli che incontriamo ci ripetono.
Il primo è che nelle intenzioni di Netanyahu un vero processo di pace e uno Stato di Palestina non ci saranno. L’altro è che la formula nella quale tutti ci siamo riconosciuti, quella dei due popoli in due stati, rischia di essere soltanto una ipocrisia senza la fine della occupazione e la rimozione degli insediamenti illegali. Che in tutto sono 330, di cui 27 nati negli ultimi due anni.
Noi continueremo a batterci per il riconoscimento dello Stato Palestinese in Italia. E ad usare il più possibile la nostra voce per raccontare quello che stiamo vedendo ed ascoltando.

Just noticed that there is a new site for hut reservations in the Alps. The new site was created by a cooperation of DAV, SAC, OEAV and AVS.

Not sure if indeed reservations are possible for all huts, but did check some random huts and they were all in there. The site looks nice. It is also possible to merge multiple accounts from the old alpsonline into one (logon as to the one you would like to keep and than start the merge process). It works.
