Y⃒̸̷̝̜̙ͥͥͥngmar<p>The other strimmer engine just needed a replacement fuel line, the original had gone brittle and broken.</p><p>The engine runs fine and is barely used. But the bottom half of the strimmer is missing entirely. The remaining tube is bent. Looks like it may have been left on the ground and someone drove over it.</p><p>Could get a replacement shaft and tube, but I don't really need a third strimmer.</p><p>Ideas? Make a really short strimmer for children? Attach an old propeller and use as outboard engine? Motorized flyswatter?</p><p>Maybe I'll just keep it as spare engine.</p><p>Fun fact: The shaft in the tube is a flexible one, so it works even when the tube is bent. I didn't know that.</p><p><a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/DIY" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DIY</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Repair" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Repair</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Strimmer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Strimmer</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/2Stroke" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>2Stroke</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Engine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Engine</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Mowing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mowing</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/VroomVroom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VroomVroom</span></a></p>
