With the rise of apps, the Web makes up may by only 10% of many users' data traffic. Even the voting last night was mostly done on apps, not the web, afaict.

@rochelimit @alterelefant @clacke Not all, but many mobile apps use https (i.e. web protocol) to a web server, often passing either html or json.

Yes. HTTP is not WWW per se though, but the protocol the Web uses. Apps are still not the web, in the way I meant it.
