@FediverseSymbol ⁂ is a good one. ❉ is a nice one too, but it kind of resembles ActivityPub more than the Fediverse itself.

I disagree; the balloon-spoked doesn't show that instances can connect without going thru a center.
The asterism shows that any instance can "reach" and connect with another instance directly, and in any direction. The 2 bottom symbols can connect, if neither side chooses to refuse the connection, DIRECTLY and without involving any center hub.
I also favor a symbol that can reduce and is easily pasted into posts and other messages.
